A couple of success stories

1     B.C. invested through Domaines in 2004. He bought 2 blocks of 2 ha each, in a prestigious housing estate in the north of Auckland, close to the Pacific. Thanks to Domaines, he bought these blocks with a 15% discount. A new road that was build in that development increased the market value immediately by 30%. Within six month, the market value thus was 50% more than what B.C paid for this property. A capital gain of about 200 000 NZ$.
2     A.F. invested through Domaines in April 2004, buying a 1400 sqm section in Auckland for 95 000 NZ$. He sold the property 8 month later for 145 000 NZ$. A capital gain of 50 000 NZ$ tax free.
3     C.L. entrusted Domaines with the research of a house in the mountains. His plan was to come every year for 3 month to escape the European winter. On our advice, C.L bought a chalet at Ohakune (north Island) for 180 000 NZ $ and added 30 000 NZ $ in  renovation.  While he had his property renovated; the local property market became really hot and values increased by 25 %. If C.L would sell the chalet today it would bring easily $ 40,000 NZ$ in capital gain- tax free.
4     F.S. invested with Domaines in a block. The property was located north of one of Auckland’s suburbs. F.S built a villa on that property totalling the price to 500 000 NZ$. After 18 months F.S. sold his property for 630 000 NZ$.
